Christopher Adams began his training in Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan (Blue Wave System) August 24, 1998, at Sung Cho's Tae Kwon Do Academy in Vernal Utah under Master Bill Hall. In November 2000 Christopher tested and was promoted to 1st Dan Black-Belt. In February of 2001 Certification of Instructorship for Tae Kwon Do was earned. Promotion to 2nd Dan Black-Belt occurred in November 2001.
To fill certain gaps in his martial arts Christopher began training December 2000 in Mantis Kung-fu under Sifu Arn Ufford. Relocating again in April 2008 to Reno Christopher has continued his Tae Kwon Do training under Master Edmilson Da Silva Filho.

Master Edmilson Da Silva Filho has over 20 years of Martial Arts experience, is a 5th degree black belt and former 3 time National Champion of Brazil. He has traveled through out the world (USA, South America, Europe, Asia) competing, teaching and practicing Taekwondo. In all places where he has taught he has built a loyal student base and earned recognition from his peers.

Our instructor Gabriel Torres, 3rd degree black belt, has been training
Taekwondo since 1992. He enjoys studying the traditional aspects of this
martial art, which he believe is a path for self-knowledge and improving
as a human being. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he moved to Reno
in 2007.

Head Instructor, Ron Tanner, has been involved in Taekwondo for over 20 years beginning in Korea where he became a first Dan black belt. Currently a 3rd third Dan black belt, Mr. Tanner will be testing for his fourth Dan sometime in 2010 for the " Master" status. Mr.Tanner has lived in the Reno area for fifteen years and is active in many aspects of our community.
